Jaipur Metro Phase 2 is the 41km North-South Orange Line connecting Prahladpura (South) to Todi Mod (North) with 36 stations. It was approved by the Union Cabinet in April 2026 at a cost of ₹13,037.66 crore and is targeted for completion by September 2031.
Orange Line Route Details
The Orange Line will run entirely elevated, except for underground sections near Jaipur International Airport. It is designed as a true North-South spine for the city, complementing the existing East-West Pink Line.
Key zones served include:
- Sitapura Industrial Area — major employment hub
- Jaipur International Airport — direct metro access
- Tonk Road — dense commercial corridor
- SMS Hospital & Stadium — healthcare & sports
- Ambabari & Vidhyadhar Nagar — northern residential zones
The project is being implemented by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited (RMRCL), a 50:50 joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan.
