- 1.Board a train heading towards Mansarovar (west). Direction boards on the platform clearly show the terminus name.
- 2.The fare for this route is fixed by distance. Buy your token for Civil Lines at the counter or vending machine before you go through the gate - you cannot buy on the train.
- 3.This is a short ride of just 4 stops (about 3 km). Standing is fine - the journey takes 9 minutes or less.
- 4.At Civil Lines, auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws are outside the main exit for onward travel to SMS Stadium and Statue Circle.
- 5.A Smart Card saves you 10% on this fare compared to a token - worth getting if you're making this journey more than 3-4 times.
Luggage Policy
Standard personal luggage - backpacks, laptop bags, and suitcases up to cabin size - is allowed on all Jaipur Metro trains. Very large items (oversized suitcases, bicycles except foldable ones) are not permitted during peak hours and should be placed in the luggage area near the carriage doors during off-peak travel. Chandpole station has elevator access, making it manageable for heavier bags. Food and liquids are not allowed on the train or platform.
